Phenomenal service and food! From setup to clean up Doug handled everything for us which was so easy on our behalf. The food was great!!! Best cornbread I have ever had! We loved Doug and will 100% do this again!

Hands down one of the best nights of our OBX trip. Nick came to our house and threw the best seafood boil. The food was so fresh, so flavorful, and we got SO much of it. Nick was super friendly, helped set everything up, and even handled the cleanup. It felt like having a private chef and a party planner all in one. Our whole group loved the experience. If you’re in OBX, def book this!!!

This was our first experience with a take home seafood boil. The service at the store was terrific. Verbal and written instructions for preparing the food at home were on point. We got three dinners with shrimp and mussels, and added scallops. We followed the directions and it all came out perfectly cooked. We were impressed with how tender the shrimp and scallops were. The shrimp were definitely the easiest peeling that we have had while here this week. (We have had peel and eat shrimp 4 days in a row prior to getting the seafood boil.) we highly recommend giving this a try even if you are a bit nervous about cooking it yourself. It is a great experience!

THE BEST FOOD. Oh my goodness what a treat this boil was! It was so cool and unique to watch the food be prepared and Doug and Carter stole the show! Such fun and engaging hosts. Worth the experience just for their insights to local spots! The seasoning was definitely the best I've had and we had the perfect amount of food with a touch of leftovers. Absolutely would do again and you should, too! It will elevate your beach trip to vacation status.

We did a boil for 25 and it was amazing! Doug was prompt, informative, timely and overall friendly. The food was excellent! I’m use to a Cajun crawfish/shrimp boil where the food is submerged in liquid but I thoroughly enjoyed the NC steamed boil. All the components of the boil were cooked perfectly. I highly recommend this company and Doug!

We had the absolute joy & privilege of having the Outer Banks Boil Company cater our intimate wedding reception dinner in Nags Head in June 2025. As a chef based out of NYC and the bride, I can only give the highest of praises to the entire team! From start to finish the experience was nothing short of perfection. Coordinating the catering management team was seamless and they were incredibly accommodating to my request to have a slightly later than standard dining time. Our boil was hosted by Nick who truly blew us away with his warm, kind, and generous hospitality. The food was beyond delicious with enough leftovers to enjoy a meal of shrimp tacos the next night which was an incredible suggestion from Nick himself at the end of the evening. We cannot thank Nick and the entire Outer Banks Boil Company team for creating such a delicious and memorable experience for us and our family on our wedding night! We cannot wait to return to OBX and enjoy another boil again when we return to celebrate our anniversaries!
